Opened in 2012, the youngest branch of the National Museum in Kielce - the Museum for Intercultural Dialogue - proves that the most important issues can be approached in a straightforward way. The interactivity of the exhibitions additionally helps to understand these difficult and complex problems.
The Museum for Intercultural Dialogue is the answer for more and more visible lack of mutual understanding in today's world. The fundamental questions about understanding, toleration and agreement are a starting point and encouragement to the independent thinking about the modern world. There are no regular display units. Instead, the movies, photos, recordings and presentations, which shows how in the 20th century intercultural dialogue was conducted and what dangers it met, can be found there. The central part of the exhibition is the triangle of diversity which offers ten different presentations about ethnic and denominational diversity, and history of national and religious minorities. The renovated Tenement House 'Pod Herbami', where the Museum for Intercultural Dialogue is located, is a place of discussions and good relations making.Less
