Bolechowicka Gate
Local name: Brama Bolechowicka
The Bolechowicka Gate lies within the Krakow Valley Landscape Park, near the town of Karniowice. It is a karst rock form consisting of two pillars forming a passage. A small Bolechówka stream flows along the bottom of the valley.
The Bolechowicka Gate is formed by the Pillars of Abaze and Penitents, about 30 meters high. They are limestone rocks with jagged peaks, which are led by climbing routes. The gate is protected as part of the Gorge Bolechowicki reserve. Next to it is the karst spring considered a natural monument.
