In the area of 1.5 hectares were built buildings with a customary layout, depicting the traditional wooden architecture of the Kurpie region around the Green Forest of the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. Kurpiowska Farm is a branch of the Museum of Kurpie Culture in Ostrołęka.
The cottage of Golanka is surrounded by economic buildings - a well with a crane, a granary in the Kurpie called a pigger, a forge and a lumberhouse, and at the back of it are placed beehives, a testament to the traditions of the region. The chapel of the Birch Angle has been adapted into an educational room with workshops and lessons for children and young people. The museum office, the cash register, as well as the local print shop are located in Chata with Tatar.
Historical buildings equipped with cultural heritage Kurpiowszczyzna were much more, but were lost with the fire that took place at the end of July 2015. The barn with the Tatar carriage, the barn with the barn and carpentry workshop and the barn from the village of Surowe were destroyed.
Every year, on the third Sunday in June, an open-air Museum of Kurpiowskie is opened in the open-air museum, where you can learn about traditional ceremonies, accompanying rites, music and dances. In addition, the museum hosts folk art workshops.
