Town Hall Square

The charming market is surrounded by baroque and rococo houses with arcades, and its decoration is the Town Hall with a well-known restaurant in the basement. There are many shops and cafes in the houses under the arcades. On the Town Hall Square there is a fountain with a statue of Neptune, the king of the seas.

Most of the tenement houses are a result of reconstruction in the 1970s, but six of them retain their original façades. The market of tenement houses in the old days was occupied by merchants.
