The port of Jastarnia, located on the side of the Puck Bay, is a well-known fishing base, passenger bridge and yacht marina. In its eastern part there is a sports sailing center and a diver base. There is also a sailing ship called "General Zaruski", on which rehabilitation cruises for the disabled took place.
The port of Jastarnia can be accessed by boats with a length of about 60 m and a draft of almost four meters - provided that the water level remains moderate. Ships are required to travel at a safe speed of no more than 5 knots. The port basin is protected by two breakwaters, the western one is 200 m long and the eastern one is 80 m long.
The first port in Jastarnia was built in the interwar period in the years 1926-1931. The concept of its construction was developed by Józef Poznański. The port was bombed on September 14, 1939. It was rebuilt in 1947-49.
