Coastal Defense Museum in Hel is a place documenting the Poles' warfare in Pomerania during World War II. Museum complexes include exhibition halls, historic buildings and open-air museums.
The collection of the Coastal Defense Museum opened in 2006 is presented in refurbished historical buildings, which used to serve as the German coastal artillery battery "Schleswig-Holstein" and the pre-war battery for them. Heliodora Laskowski.
Exhibitions show collections related, among others. With the defense of Hel and the Marine Aircraft Division in Puck, as well as the activity of the patron of the museum - Zbigniew Przybyszewski. Exhibitions also cover subjects such as war and medicine, military communications equipment and hand grenades.
There are various types of cannons, mines, boats and launches, fire trucks and trucks, torpedoes and torpedo launchers in the open-air museum.
