Międzymorze Promenade

Local name: Promenada Międzymorze

Międzymorze is the main promenade on the Hel Peninsula, with a length of 600 meters. Its extension is known in Jurata pier with a view of the Puck Bay. A place besieged by tourists because of the large number of cafes, restaurants, souvenir stalls, as well as public people looking for a quiet place to rest.

The promenade is located in the very center of the town, and its role is fulfilled by the pedestrian street Sychty. You can see a statue of the Polish painter - Wojciech Kossak, as well as a fountain with a sculpture of the legendary sea goddess - Jurata. According to legend, Jurata's father did not agree to her relationship with a poor fisherman, so as a punishment he destroyed her amber palace, and the remains of ambers can still be found on the nearby beach. Old fishermen believed that paying homage to the goddesses would win them the favor of the element.

Jurata attracts artists and celebrities looking for inspiration and rest. You can often find them on the main pedestrian street.
