Although Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship is rarely associated with water recreation, it is also possible to find places for sunbathing and water sports. It is located on the border of the districts of Staszow and Kielce Chańcza Lake. On summer days it gives you the opportunity to rest from the heat and enjoy water recreation.
Lake Chańcza is an artificial reservoir built at the turn of the seventies and eighties of 20th century on Czarna Staszowska river. It is located in a mildly undulating terrain, surrounded by fields and forests. Its edges are perfect for relaxing. In many places there are holiday resorts, campsites and camp sites.
There are two swimming pools on the lake, in its southern part, between Chańcza and Korytnica. There are also rental equipment for swimming equipment - kayaks, boats, water bikes. Thanks to clean water and picturesque surroundings, it is a popular holiday destination for the inhabitants of Kielce and its environs.
