The late Baroque church of Saint Nicholas in Głogówek is a small, towerless building that once belonged to the buildings of the Holy Spirit Hospital. The one-nave church has a facade crowned with a semicircular gable. In the simple interior there is a Baroque painting depicting the patron of the temple, Saint Nicholas.

The Holy Spirit Hospital existed in Głogówek as early as the fourteenth century. At the time of the city's greatest prosperity during the Oppersdorff rule, it was already badly damaged. In the second half of the eighteenth century, a new hospital and chapel. Unlike most churches, the small church of Saint Nicholas was not oriented. His presbytery is facing south, not east. It is a one-nave building with a rectangular chancel. A slender turret rises above the roof.

The interior is very simple, covered with white plaster. The most important monument of the church is a picture of Saint Nicholas made by Franciszek Sebastini. The altar in which it was placed has not been preserved. Instead, you can see the late Baroque pulpit and the Way of the Cross stations.
