The pier creates one of the main scenic and walking routes of the city. It has the form of a reinforced earth embankment lined with paving stones. It is 450 m long and benches have been set up all over this area. Visitors can relax on them and admire the Niegocin Lake as well as passenger ships and sailing yachts sailing on it, as the Mazurian Shipping port is located nearby. The pier was built in 1970 and revitalized in 2011.
