St. Barbara in Gdańsk is a historic church built in the late Gothic style. From the mid-sixteenth century until the end of World War II, it was a Protestant temple. It is 36 m long, 18 m wide and 10 m high, with its tower measuring 40 m and towering over the entire area.

The history of the church dates back to the second half of the 14th century, when a chapel was built next to the city hospital. st. Barbara. One hundred years later, the chapel was expanded and elevated to the rank of a church. In the following centuries, the temple was rebuilt several times. In 1945, as a result of warfare, the church was significantly damaged - the gable walls and all upper floors of the tower collapsed. The reconstruction and reconstruction of the interior lasted until the 1990s.

During a visit to the church, it is worth paying attention to the modern stained glass windows designed by Barbara Massalska and the 7 historic sculptures donated by the National Museum in Gdańsk.
