Church of Sts. Stanislaus the Bishop and the Martyr is a class 0 monument, one of the most valuable wooden churches in Poland. In the interior of the temple we can see three richly carved altars - the main Renaissance and later Baroque. The ceiling is decorated with Renaissance polychrome.
The church was erected in the years 1550-58. Its founder was the stromecost starost, Wojciech Rawicz Boguski. In its long history, the temple underwent two general renovations - in 1796 and 1915, when it was seriously damaged during the war. Regular conservation works have been carried out since the mid-twentieth century to save the building and its contents, including priceless polychromes. The paintings from the mid-sixteenth century depict Christ, the Evangelists, the allegories of main sins, but also the surprising elements of the grotesque: the pig playing on the drum, the monkey with the trumpet and the donkey musician on the wiol.
