St. Mary's Church is a gorgeous church built in 1321 in Darłowo. Visitors can admire here the richly decorated interior and many interesting objects situated inside. There are the monumental pipe organs from the 19th century, the Renaissance baptismal font, the richly decorated pulpit, the Baroque seatings, and numerous paintings.
The church was built in the place of the former cemetery. It's a basilica made of brick and glacial erratic with three naves of which the main nave is much taller than the side naves. The 60-meter tower stands between the side naves. It's topped by the octagonal, small tower with a dome with a cross. What brings attention most is the wooden pulpit from 1700. It's supported by the sculpture of an angel. Its canopy is decorated with the depiction of the Last Judgment while the sides consist of reliefs of the scenes from Christ's life. There is also the beautiful Baroque crucifix, the tabernacle, and the brass chandelier with an angel from the turn of the 18th century.Less
