The WWII bunkers are situated on the dunes. Every visitor can explore their interiors. There isn't much equipment inside - what remained to this day are, among others, the original beds. The Polish divisional gun from the 1950s and target ranges to which visitors can shoot are placed near ticket counters.
The bunkers were built in 1937. Their purpose was to defend the harbor and the shipyard in Darłówko. There were also crew and technical rooms. The fortifications were hidden in the dunes for many years. Thanks to Marian Laskowski, enthusiast of history, they were dug out and opened to the public.Less
