The Łososiowa Island is located between the Wieprza River and the Mill Channel and covers an area of nearly 2 ha. There is a park with walking paths, decorative bushes and flowers. Strollers can relax on numerous benches. An attraction for children is the playground, and for adults chess tables and checkers. There is also a campsite with a separate space for the organization of bonfires and a canoe harbor.
The island can be reached through two gates, which are closed at night. The main one is located on the side of Maria Curie-Skłodowska Street. However, the second gate is from the Canal Street and is connected to the island by a wooden bridge.
