The museum is a private facility dedicated to the history of the 4th Podhale Rifles Regiment which stationed in Cieszyn since 1920. It's located in the private cellars turned into museum rooms. The main part of the exposition consists of uniforms, equipment, and documents related to the regiment.
The most interesting exhibits are, among others, the reconstructed carriage for machine gun Biedka wz.33, the motorbike by company Elfa-Sachs from 1938, and war bikes by pre-war company Kaniński. There are also replicas of firearms and parts of aircraft such as Messerschmitt Bf 109, Yakovlev Yak-9, and Ilyushin Il-2. Additional attractions are movies and presentations about the Polish Army of the Second Polish Republic. The museum also owns the Cieszyn's bunker from 1939.Less
