Huk Naturiststrand is a public beach and parkland located on the Bygdøy Peninsula in the Frogner district. Picturesque views, proximity to the city center, vast green space, the area rich in magnificent villas and museums attract residents and tourists seeking rest in the bosom of nature.
Visitors will find many places for active recreation, barbecue points, sandy areas with access to bathing areas, a restaurant and smaller gastronomy. The special zone dedicated to naturists located on the grassy promontory is also popular. In addition to the attractions listed, we also find a bit of art: the Ikar sculpture (Ikaros from 1972) by Annasif Døhlen, as well as the Large Arch sculpture created by Henry Moore.
The curiosities associated with this place include the fact that during World War II, the Huk Naturiststrand was a fortified place with a coastal defense artillery position.
