Trolltunga

This unusual geological formation called the "Troll's Language" rises 1100 meters above sea level, towering over the waters of Lake Ringedalsvatnet. The length of the rocky shelf is 10 meters. For almost the entire 20th century, tourists could get here by the Mågelibane funicular, which stopped running only in 2004. Today it is a popular hiking destination.
