Seven Sisters Waterfall in Geiranger along the Geirangerfjord. As the name suggests, the waterfall consists of seven separate streams, the highest of which has a free fall of 250 meters. Dei sju systre with a total height of 410 meters ranks 39th in terms of the height of waterfalls in Norway.
The name of the waterfall refers to the landscape. Dei sju systre is located on the north side of the Geirangerfjord, while to the south of it we can see a lonely single waterfall called "The Competitor", which flirtatiously flirts with the seven dancing maids on the other side of the bay.
The waterfall can be found south of the historic mountain village of Knivsflå, situated 250 meters above the waterline and founded here in the 17th century. About 6 kilometers away is the village of Geranger. The Seven Sisters Waterfall itself is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
