Fort Kijkuit

The fort was built in 1844 as part of the New Dutch Water Line. He received the prestigious Europa Nostra award, given to buildings of special cultural significance. Some of the renovated rooms are open to the public. You can see an exhibition about the history of the fort and its historical significance.
