Local name: Fort aan de Drecht

The fort was built in 1911 as part of the defensive fortifications system, entirely inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 2000 it was thoroughly renovated. It currently houses a restaurant, art gallery, studio and exhibition space. Wine tasting and glass-blowing workshops are also organized.
