Church of Saint John
Local name: De Janskerk
The church and monastery built in the years 1310-1318 were, for almost three centuries, the seat of the Order of St. John (order of St. John). In the second half The building was taken over by Protestants in the 16th century, and since 1930 it has been municipal property and has no religious function. Currently, the public archives center of North Holland is located here.
