Grote Markt
Local name: Grote Markt
The central square of the city, which probably already existed in the 7th century, obtained its present form in the 18th century when the town hall was built. The radial layout of the streets reaching the square has been preserved since the Middle Ages. The most important architectural object is the church of St. Marcin's with an impressive 96.8-meter tower.
