The Diamond Museum in Amsterdam was founded in 2007, the exhibition shows the origin and history of diamond trade and processing. You can see tools for processing these unique minerals and replicas of the largest diamonds in the world.

The museum displays movies about high-profile diamond theft, and you can also listen to famous songs such as "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" by Marilyn Monroe.

Temporary exhibitions are devoted to items decorated with jewels, for example replicas of royal crowns are exhibited.

The museum was opened on the initiative of Coster Diamonds - the largest Dutch company that deals with diamond cutting. It was in it that one of the most valuable diamonds in the world from India - Koh-i-Noor was cut.
