Santa Maria Maggiore

The church was built in the 12th century on the site of a much older temple, dated to the 5th century. As a result of numerous reconstructions, it is now possible to see Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance elements. It has numerous monuments, including a 13th-century fresco depicting the Madonna and Child and a marble tabernacle from the 15th century.
