The monumental late baroque country chateau is one of the largest villas of its kind on the Brenta Canal. The construction of the palace began in the early 18th century for Alvise Pisani, the most famous member of the Pisani family. Noteworthy is the façade topped with sculptures, as well as the ballroom where the 18th-century painter Giovanni Battista Tiepolo placed his frescoes.
