Sëlva is a village in the Dolomites known as a center of active tourism and a ski resort. There are almost 200 km of ski slopes of varying difficulty in the vicinity, and in summer, scenic hiking trails await tourists.
The village is situated in the beautiful valley of Val Gardena, at the foot of the Sella massif. It has the characteristic, recognizable appearance of a huge table made of rocks. Its steep slopes are a paradise for climbers, and numerous hiking trails lead through more gentle places. They also cover the entire surroundings of the valley, lead through alpine meadows, spruce forests to the scenic peaks, from which you can admire magnificent mountain panoramas.
In winter, the Val Gardena valley turns into a huge ski resort, of which Sëlva is one of the main centers. The most important attractions of Selva are mainly varied downhill runs, from simple, family runs for beginners to black slopes with height differences of up to 250 m. The apres-ski offer is also very rich. There are restaurants, bars, clubs and wellness salons. You can go on a snowshoe trip or a snowmobile ride to admire the beauty of the mountains in winter clothes.
