Gorge of Tiberio

A natural rock canyon created by the Pollina River in Sicily at a length of about 450 m. The water flows between the rocks, which are up to 50 m high. The river flows relatively slowly because it is slowly approaching its mouth. The gorge is a popular destination for trips organized by canoes, dinghies or boats. During them, it is possible to swim in cool, clean water, but its depth is very large, reaching up to 8 m.
