Madonie Park

A landscape park in Sicily located between Palermo and Cefalu. It covers the Madonie mountain range, with its highest peak Pizzo Carbonara 1979 m above sea level, which is the second highest peak of the island.

The park is characterized by a varied landscape, with bare or overgrown mountain meadows, mountain ridges, picturesque valleys and small villages. It has several medieval castles and interesting churches.
