The temple was built in honor of the emperor Hadrian, who after his death was entered into the pantheon of deities. It was built around 145. To modern times, only one wall, decorated with 11 columns, measuring 15 m high, has been preserved, which was incorporated into the stock exchange building. In Roman museums you can see reliefs formerly adorning the temple.
