Fosse Ardeatine Mausoleum

The mausoleum is a monument in memory of 385 civilian victims of the Nazi massacre of March 24, 1944. It covers a part of the cave and corridor where the murder took place and the temple, which is also the burial place of the victims. A sculptural group and a stone, thorny gate stand in front of the mausoleum.
