The Roman tabularium, i.e. the state and military archives, was encapsulated in 78 BC after a fire that almost completely destroyed the previous building. Located at the Roman Forum, at the foot of the Capitol. Only fragments of the walls have been preserved to modern times, which were incorporated into the Palace of Senators.
