The Parco Museo Ferroviario in Rome is a railway museum created at one of the historic Porta San Paolo freight stations (Rome-Lido railway line). Here you can see old locomotives, such as Breda - AEG from 1915, tram STEFER and models of old rail vehicles.
Valuable facilities also include: tram 70, manufactured in 1912 (withdrawn in 1980), tram 404 from 1939 (withdrawn in 1980), locomotive 5, running on the Rome-Ostia railway line, Carminati & locomotive Toselli - TIBB from 1922, running on the route Rome-Ostia.
The museum was opened in 2004. Its purpose is to show the history of local rail transport. Old vehicles - locomotives and trams were placed in a beautiful park, while inside the building there is a collection of models and antique devices used to handle transport.
