The town has Phoenician roots. On its territory was the ancient city of Nora. Currently, the archaeological site of Nora is one of the most important attractions and monuments in Pula. Another interesting building in the city is the medieval church of Sant'Efisio. Every year on May 1, a colorful procession starts from there to the capital of the island. It is one of the most important Christmas celebrations in Italy.

In high season, Pula attracts tourists with its beautiful beaches, such as Nora Beach or Pinus Village Beach, and the possibility of contact with the culture of Sardinia. In the area, local delicacies and wines are tasted, fiestas and festivals with handicraft fairs are organized. On the other hand, people who like more modern entertainment can take advantage of the BluFan water park located a few kilometers from the city.
