The ruins of the temple of Apollo from the 1st century BC They stand in the vicinity of the forum in Pompeii and are very well preserved. The temple stood on a high pedestal and was surrounded by Corinthian columns. In front of the building there is an Ionic column with a sundial and a marble altar. The portico houses bronze statues of Apollo and Diana, which are now housed in the National Museum in Naples. There are exact copies of them on the site.
