A small, gothic church standing on the banks of the Arno River. It was built around 1330 on the site of an earlier oratory. It owes its name to the relics kept here in the form of a thorns crown of Christ's thorns. It is a one-nave building with a Gothic facade decorated with gables and pinnacles, and a sculpture of the Virgin Mary. The interior lined with marble conceals several medieval statues of saints.
