A Gothic palace in the center of Perugia, in the Middle Ages the seat of the city authorities and the most important merchant and banker guilds. It was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries in the Italian Gothic style. It is a rectangular building with rows of pointed arches, decorated windows, battlement and richly decorated entrance portals with carved tympanums. Today it houses the City Library and the Umbrian Museum.
