Archaeological museum founded in 1760 by prince Filip Bourbon to protect finds from the area of Parma. There are items from the pre-Roman and Roman periods, including architectural elements, ceramics, weapons and jewelry. The most important part of the collection are the monuments found in Veleia, including plaques with inscriptions from the times of Emperor Trajan.
