A baroque theater located in the Palazzo della Pilotta. It was built in the early 17th century by the Farnese family ruling Parma. Destroyed during World War II, it regained its former splendor in 1962. The theater refers to the shape of ancient buildings. The semi-circular stage is surrounded by wooden, rising rows of seats, above which baroque arcades were built. The theater is still used today to organize performances and concerts.
