Old Hospital

Local name: Ospedale Vecchio

The Renaissance building from the 15th century until 1926 served as a city hospital. Currently, it houses cultural institutions, including several libraries. It was built on a Greek cross plan and crowned with a high dome. Its facade is decorated with a portico, a characteristic element of Renaissance hospital buildings.
