The palace was built in the second half. 16th century by order of the prince of Parma - Ottavio Farnese. In the 18th century, the residence was expanded. The palace is kept in the baroque and neoclassical style. Inside you can see the famous sixteenth century frescoes by Jacopo Bertoji.
