Piazza dei Signori

One of the most important squares in Padua, which has been a place of municipal festivities and outdoor events since the Middle Ages. It is surrounded by historic buildings from different eras, the arcades of which largely come from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, and you can see the remains of Gothic and Renaissance decorations. The square also has a Column of Marciana, built from the remains of the former church of St. Mark and clock tower.
