One of the most famous and dangerous volcanoes in the world. It is located on the Gulf of Naples and was last active in 1944. It has a height of 1281 m above sea level, its crater is 230 m deep. On the slopes of the volcano there are orchards and viticulture, and the entire area is protected by a national park. Vesuvius is also a tourist attraction. Several hiking trails lead to the top, and a special car park can be reached by car from which you can reach the viewpoint.
