The museum is housed in a Renaissance palace from the 15th century. It houses art collections, coins and books collected in the 19th century by Prince Satriano, Gaetano Filangieri. You can see the works of such artists as Jusepe de Ribera, Francesco Solimena or Luca della Robbia.
