Gesù Nuovo Square

One of the main squares of the old city of Naples, which took its name from the church located here. It has an irregular, elongated shape and numerous historic buildings stand next to it, including two churches and former merchant houses. The dominant feature of the square is made of marble decorated with sculptures, a pyramid crowned with the figure of the Virgin Mary. On the ground floor of the houses at the square there are cafes and restaurants.
