One of the few remains of former city fortifications. The tower was built in the fourteenth century by the Guingi merchant family as an expression of their importance and wealth. It is a Romanesque-Gothic building built of red brick and stone. At its top is a garden founded in the fourteenth century, with three oaks. The tower offers a beautiful view of the city and its surroundings.
