The oldest of the gates of Genoa, built in the mid-twelfth century in the so-called walls of Barbarossa. Only small fragments have survived to this day. It is a structure built of hewn stone, with two round towers on both sides of the entrance. On the wall hangs a picture of St. Andrew because of the proximity of the monastery under his command.
