The church dates from the beginning of the 13th century, but was thoroughly rebuilt in the mid-15th and 18th centuries. The subdued, neoclassical facade contrasts with the decorative, Baroque interior. It is worth seeing the main altar, crowned with a nearly 3-meter sculpture depicting the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and 10 side chapels.
