The 15th-century chapel at the Santa Croce church is the work of Filippo Brunelleschi. The interior design is the work of, among others Desideria da Settignano, Luki della Robbia, Donatello and Giuliano da Maiano. Work started in 1442 was discontinued in 1478, after the unsuccessful plot against the Medici rule, the Pazzi family was banished from Florence.
