Basilica of San Marco

The history of the basilica goes back to the early 12th century. The historic church was originally part of the monastery complex, in which he lived, among others Girolamo Savonarola - saint of the Anglican and Mariavite Church. The church is distinguished by an eighteenth-century facade in the neoclassical style and a sixteenth-century belfry.
